Love is Blind

True love is blind. You never have to see a person to know you love them. You don’t have to know the color of their hair, skin or eyes. You don’t even have to know their gender to love them.

How do I know this? I loved my daughters more than anything in this world, before I ever got the chance to see them. Before I could feel them, before there was the first symptom, before I saw two fluttering heartbeats on one screen. The day I got the phone call that I had 6 fertilized embryos waiting on me. I have 6 children. Two I have met, and four more waiting for me. I love all 6 equally. 2 I have seen, 4 I have not. ❤

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
New International Version (NIV)
"4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

Even though I can't see you again, I love you as always.
